Educational Qualification: 

Eligibility Criteria for Director, Scientist-B and Other Jobs: 

• Director: Doctorate degree in Entomology/Zoology /Agriculture/Botany/Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from any recognized University with a minimum 12 years Research    experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Joint Director.
• Scientist-B: Post Graduate degree in Science or Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences.
• Scientist-C: Post Graduate degree in Zoology from any recognized University with 04 year of experience in Research and Development/Academic Institutes/Science & Technology Organizations in the field of Zoology.
  

Age limit: Below 53 years for Director, 40 years for Scientist-C and 35 years for Scientist-B Post

Pay Matrix: Director: Level -13 (Rs.123100-215900), Scientist-C:  Level -11 (Rs.67700-208700) and Scientist-B: Level -10 (Rs.56100-177500)
