After long discussions, Cept University has decided to determine the monthly working hours of their permanent staff. Further, for betterment of students and enhancing the quality of teaching, feedback sessions are made mandatory after every classroom teaching. For applying these terms, Cept university council is planning a roadmap.
According to the policy, which the faculty will receive shortly, every teacher has to spend minimum 160 hours each month in the campus wherein 24 percent of the time will be spent in the classrooms, 36 percent intended for teaching, deepening knowledge and Research and 15 percent to accomplish administrative responsibility.
Another amendment like to include an academic calendar is likely to usher in. They need certainty about the curriculum. Additionally, board has suggested to engage faculty members in consultation for 52 days only. This makes sure that the academic activities are in progress.
Currently dean of Cept university has held post for several years. To afford the opportunity to every faculty dean will be selected by the selection Committee where as the tenure of the dean will be close to three years.
The university y has also limited the auxiliary earning of the faculty and the extra earning will be used to amend the facilities, students fee waivers and satisfying operational expenses.
