State Bank of India (SBI) has come up with SBI PO Exam 2014 notification in order to recruit eligible candidates for the Post of Probationary Officer in different SBI Branch. Eligible candidates have to apply on or before 24 April 2014 for the exam that will be conducted in the month of June 2014.

The candidates successfully qualify all the below mention phases with minimum required marks, set by Bank will be appointed to the mentioned post.
Phase-I: Objective Tests (200) marks and Descriptive Test (50 marks)
The Objective Test will be conducted through online mode.
The Objective Test contain four different Sections of 200 Marks (50 Objective Test each) and should be completed in 02 hours duration

The candidates have to secure minimum passing marks in all the section to qualify the examination.
(i) The Descriptive Test of “Test Descriptive Test: of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”contains 50 Marks which candidates have to complete in 1 hour duration. The candidates have to secure minimum passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
The candidates who passed both, the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

Final Selection
Qualified Candidates who will pass both phases, Phase-I and Phase-II separately with minimum qualifying marks will be listed as per their merit.
Candidates secured marks in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) will be converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25.
The final merit list will be formed after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category. The selection will be done from the top merit ranked candidates in each category that will be published on the Bank's website and Employment News.
