Eligibility Criteria for Head Mistress, Master & Art Mistress Post
Educational Qualification
- Head Mistress: Master degree, Bachelor degree in teaching/education, 10 years teaching experience in recognized secondary schools, capacity for developing corporate life and maintaining discipline in secondary schools, familiarity with the latest developments in secondary education and good power of expression in Bengali – spoken and written.
- English Master: Master Degree or Honours Degree in English, Degree in teaching or Education or equivalent, Teaching experience in English medium in secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates & Ability to teach in English medium.
- Mathematics Master: Master Degree or Honours Degree in Mathematics, Degree in teaching or Education or equivalent, Teaching experience in English medium in secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates & Ability to teach in English medium.
- Art Mistress: Degree or Diploma, Experience as a practicing artist, 3 years teaching experience in a recognized Educational Institute, preferably in a School & Ability to teach in English medium.
Age Limit
- Not more than 45 years for Head Mistress
- Not more than 36 years for English Master, Mathematics Master and Art Mistress
Application Fee for Head Mistress, Master & Art Mistress post
- Rs.210/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- for online payment through debit/credit card + 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment)
- SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability: Nil
