
CBSE Board FAQs on Promotion Policy: CBSE Board has released a detailed list of FAQs that provides more in-depth understanding of promotion policy which will be followed for 1st to 8th Class and 9th and 11th Class students, who are to be promoted to next grade without holding exams. The notice also clarifies fate of CBSE students who are part of schools based overseas. The FAQs released by CBSE Board about the promotion policy comes in response to the queries and concerns raised by students and parents about the decision of board to promote 1st to 8th and 9th and 11th Class students. In total, the board has released 23 FAQs that cover important aspects with regards to the promotion policy as well as the board exams which have been cancelled for the students from foreign countries. FAQs to Address Queries of Students, Parents
On 1st April 2020, the board announced that due to the public health emergency due to COVID-19 pandemic, the board will promote all the students, except for those who have to appear for 10th and 12th Class Board Exams, to next academic grade, without holding any examinations. Following this announcement, students and parents reached out to the board with regards to their doubts about the promotion policy and how would it impact their academic future. The FAQs notice released by the board answers all such queries of the students and also about the revised schedule and exam dates for CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020 that were postponed.
Revised CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam Datesheet 2020 after 14th April
One of the most frequent query from students who are due to appear for the pending papers of CBSE Board Exam 2020, is about the release date of the revised exam datesheet. On this front, the board has said that looking at the still developing situation around COVID-19 pandemic, it is currently not in a position to commit a date or release CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam Revised Datesheet 2020. However, the notice says that students will be provided 10-day notice before the resumption of the examination.
