Delhi School, College Reopening Update: As per the latest update, the Delhi State Government has allowed reopening of schools and colleges in the National Capital for administrative work and daily operations. However, as of now, the state government has not permitted holding of offline-regular classes or allowed students to visit campus to resolve their doubts. Furthermore, even for administrative work at educational institutions, teachers and staff members can be called in only upto 50% of the total capacity. This clause has been added to the reopening process to ease the initial push and ensure that social distancing norms and guidelines are followed.

Students Not Allowed to Visit Campus

While allowing the reopening of schools and colleges as part of the latest Unlock Norms announced by the Arvind Kejriwal Government, schools have not been allowed to call in students or hold regular or offline classes as of now. During the first phase of reopening of schools and colleges, only teaching and non-teaching staff members are allowed to visit the campus. Simply put, staff of the educational institutions will now be able to work from the institutions itself. In addition to this, teachers and professors will also be allowed to hold online classes from the school campus. The maximum allowed staff strength on school campuses during the initial stage is 50%.
