About FDST 2020
The Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) for MDS Degree and PG Diploma is a PG level screening test is conducted by the NBE. The Test is conducted in offline or pen-and-paper mode and is a qualifying test for Indian citizen or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) possessing a primary dental qualification/PG Diploma/Post-Graduate Dental qualification awarded by any dental institution outside India. Candidates clearing FDST test will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the exam authority in order to be eligible for a viva-voce examination. Candidates who qualify in the viva-voce with minimum of 25 marks i.e. 50% will be awarded registration certificate by the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC).
