Google has announced winners for 'Doodle for Google' contest today i.e. on Children's Day. Check out the winning Doodle and all the finalists here.

Doodle for Google Winner Announced

Doodle for Google Winner Announced: Google has announced the winner for ‘Doodle for Google’ Contest 2019 today i.e. on Children’s Day 2019. According to the official website of the contest, the winning Doodle Entry for this year’s contest came in from Divyanshi Singhal who belongs to DPS, Gurgaon. She submitted an entry titled ‘Walking Trees’, which won the 2019 edition of Doodle for Google Contest. Divyanshi is a 7 year old girl from Gurgaon and she participated in the contest in the 1 – 2 Class Group. Divyanshi’s ‘Walking Trees’ Doodle has been made to the Google India homepage on Children’s Day.

Doogle For Google 2019 – Theme

This year, Google had announced a unique theme around which it invited Doodle Entries from students from across India. The theme was ‘When I grow up, I hope ...’ Divyanshi’s Doodle showcased her creativity and imagination wherein she hopes to have walking trees by the time she grows up. In the essay entry submitted along with the Doodle, the 7-year old said that having Walking Trees can help stop deforestation and safeguard green cover on earth. She also added that “When I grow up, I hope the world’s trees can walk or fly. The land could be cleared so easily without making them die. There would be so little deforestation and humans can just ask the trees and their friends to move to another place.”

In addition to her Doogle being displayed on Google India’s home page, Divyanshi will also get An Rs 500,000 college scholarship, Rs 200,000 technology package for their school, Certificate / Trophy of achievement, a trip to Google Office, any of the Hardware.

Doodle for Google Jury

For the 2019 edition of Doogle for Google, Google had put together a set of creative and impressive people as jury to judge the entries received for the contest. The Jury consisted of Rajiv Chilaka (creator of Chhota Bheem & CEO of Green Gold Animation), Prajakta Koli (India’s leading female YouTube Creator), Neha Sharma (famous artist and creator of Neha Doodles), and the Google Doodle team.
