IIT JAM 2020 application correction: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has activated the IIT JAM 2020 application correction window. Candidates who have submitted the IIT JAM 2020 applications and wish to make minor corrections in the applications can visit the official website to make the corrections. IIT Kanpur closed the application process for IIT JAM 2020 on October 9, 2019. As per the instructions provided, the last date to make corrections in the application form is October 28, 2019. The application correction for IIT JAM 2020 can be made by visiting the website jam.iitk.ac.in. A direct link to make the corrections is also provided below.
As per the instructions provided for the IIT JAM 2020 application corrections, candidates are required to login to the JOAPS portal for the corrections. It must also be noted that not all the fields in the application form are open for correction. It must also be noted that some of the fields which require corrections will be done only after the payment of an additional fee. The fields which require an additional fee include changing the category, PwD status and changing city.
As per the instructions, changing the examination city or town will be permitted only under exceptional cases ad a fee of Rs. 500/- will have to be paid for the same. However, it has been mentioned clearly that payment of fee does not really guarantee the change in the city. Changing the gender or category may also require payment of an additional fee.

How to make changes in IIT JAM 2020 application form
Step 1: Visit the IIT JAM 2020 official website
Step 2: Click on the JOAPS portal link given
Step 3: Enter the enrollment ID or email ID and password
Step 4: The application form will be displayed. Candidates can now make the necessary changes
IIT Kanpur will release the admit card for the JAM 2020 examination on January 7, 2020, while the examination will be conducted on February 9, 2020.
