JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 starting January 31, 2025. Aspiring candidates who wish to appear for the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 can now submit their applications through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The application window will remain open until February 24, 2025, with the deadline set at 9:00 PM. Candidates can ensure that their exam fee payment is completed by 11:50 PM on the same day. This session serves as a crucial opportunity for students aiming to improve their scores or to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025.

NTA advises candidates to carefully review the eligibility criteria and instructions before submitting their applications. With the exam scheduled between April 1 and 8, 2025, candidates should begin their preparation for the exam and complete their registrations.

JEE Main 2025 Key Highlights Session 1

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), successfully concluded on January 30, 2025. The exam was held across multiple dates: January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, at 598 test centers in 284 cities across India.

This year, the exam witnessed a record-breaking participation, with nearly 13 lakh candidates registering for JEE Main 2025 Session 1. According to official data released by NTA, the overall attendance rate was approximately 94.5%, indicating a high level of engagement among engineering aspirants.

According to the candidates who took the session 1 examination, their feedback is that JEE Mains has covered all the syllabus of Class 11 and Class 12., in which the exam was held in 2 shifts from January 22 to January 30 January 2025. Session 1 was conducted in various cities of India and 15 other cities outside of India. 

Exam Mode and Structure

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and included two papers:

• Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) – For candidates aspiring to secure admission into NITs, IIITs, and other engineering institutes.
• Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) – For students seeking for admission to architecture and planning courses in various institutions.

Each paper comprised multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical-based questions, covering subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
