ISC Class 12, ICSE Class 10 Result 2025 Declared Live Updates: Board cancels ICSE, ISC compartment exams

The CISCE has discontinued compartment exams since 2024, i.e. last year. Instead of this, they have introduced the re-evaluation of answer scripts and improvement exams for students who wish to improve their marks in the same year of the examination. The CISCE improvement exams can be taken for a maximum of two subjects.

In 2024, girls recorded a pass percentage of 98.92% while that of boys, it stood at 97.53%. In 2023 as well, a similar trend was observed where 98.01%  girls passed and 95.96% boys passed.

cicse.org result: ICSE Class 10th Results 2025 grading system

The ICSE grading system ranges from 1 to 9. A pass certificate is issued to candidates who appear for the ICSE exam in six subjects and achieve passing marks in a minimum of five subjects, with English being compulsory.

Within this 1 to 9 scale:

• Grades 1 and 2 signify a very good performance.

• Grades 3 to 5 indicate a pass with credit.

• Grades 6 and 7 denote a pass.

• Grades 8 and 9 represent a failure.

For Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service, the result sheets will display grades A, B, C, D, or E.

How to Check ICSE Results via DigiLocker?

Candidates can also check their CISCE results on the DigiLocker portal results.digilocker.gov.in. Look for the dedicated CISCE section on the homepage.

ICSE (Class 10th)

1. Click on "Get Class X Result".

2. Enter your Index Number, Unique ID, and Date of Birth (as mentioned on your admission card).

3. Click "Submit".

ISC (Class 12th)

1. Click on "Get Class XII Result".

2. Enter your Index Number, Unique ID, and Date of Birth.
