10th Result 2018: The Tamil Nadu Board has declared the SSLC or Class 10th Results 2018 today on the official websites, i.e. www.tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in. The confirmation about the declaration of the SSLC Result 2018 Tamil Nadu was made by the board officials. The students are advised to visit the board's official website www.tnresults.nic.in to check their Class 10th or SSLC result 2018 Tamil Nadu. The SSLC Class 10th exams were held in March by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu.
This year, about 10, 01,140 registered for the Tamil Nadu SSLC Examinations 2018, out of which 9, 50,397 appeared for the examinations. This year, 4, 74,340 boys and 4, 76,057 girls appeared for the 10th TN examinations 2018 and no student appeared in the transgender category. The girls have outperformed boys by securing 96.4%. If we compare the data from last year, there is a decline in the number of students registering and appearing for the examination.
Last year, the results were declared on 19 May 2017; however, re-examinations were conducted in June/ July 2017 for the students who could not pass the exam. In 2017, around 10 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examinations by Tamil Nadu Board. The topper list was not declared along with the result in 2017. The TN Board HSC +2 Result 2018 was declared by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu from their DPI Complex on 16th May 2018.
