About GITAM GAT PGT 2015:
GITAM GAT PGT is the GITAM Admission Test for the Post Graduate Programmes at the Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad Campuses of GITAM University. It is an online test for the M.Tech admissions at the university.
GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed any of the following:
- B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent Degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
- Candidates must have qualified in GITAM GAT PGT 2015
- GATE qualified candidates are exempt from the entrance exam but they will have to apply and attend the counselling as per the specified schedule
GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Selection Process Exemptions:
- GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GITAM GAT PGT 2015 scores
GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Exam Pattern:
The paper will consist of 100 questions of Objective multiple choice type for 300 marks.
The exam will have three sections namely Numerical Data Analysis / Quantitative Analysis, Reasoning & Intelligence, Verbal Ability
Marking:
3 marks for each correct response
-1 mark for each incorrect answer
Duration of exam: 2 hours
GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Application Form Process:
- Candidates can apply online. Candidates must keep the DD ready before applying as the details of the DD has to be entered
- Candidates can also obtain the Application Form by post by sending a request to the Director Admission- GITAM University on a plain paper with details of of the Candidate’s name with the complete mailing address along with a DD for Rs 150 in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank
- Candidates can obtain the Application Form in select branches of Union Bank of India / Indian Bank/ Karur Vysya Bank
GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Application Fees: Rs 1000 (Rs 600 for female candidates)
Payment Mode: DD in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank

GITAM GAT PGT 2015 Counseling Process:
- Candidates have to attend the GITAM GAT PGT 2015 counseling in person as per the given schedule
- They have to furnish the originals of their certificates for verification
- Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the GATE scores/ GITAM GAT PGT scores
- Candidates who are allotted seats must pay the admission fees as specified
