The students, who are waiting for the declaration of KEAM Entrance Result 2018, can heave a sigh of relief. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala has recently announced that the results for the coveted KEAM Engineering Entrance Exam will be announced in the month of May. After the successful completion of the engineering entrance test in April, the CEE is likely to announce the KEAM Results for 2018 in the month of May. Experts are suggesting that the results will be declared in the last week of the month, with most likelihood them coming out on 25th May, 2018.

The Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) 2018 exam is one of the most important engineering entrance exams in the country. Every year, thousands of students appear for the popular entrance test, which forms the primary basis for selection of students for admissions in several UG engineering and medical courses under private and govt institutes located in Kerala State. This year, with a significant rise in the number of students appearing for the CEE Kerala Exam, the competition and cut-offs are likely to much higher compared to previous years.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) in Feburary released the KEAM-2018 notification on its official website i.e. cee-kerala.org.

The CEE Kerala in its KEAM 2018 notification released in Feburary, 2018 stated that application from are invited for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for the year 2018-19.

  1. Medical Courses: (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS(Homoeo) (iv) BAMS(Ayurveda) (v) BSMS (Siddha) (vi) BUMS (Unani)
  2. Allied Courses: (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry (iii) Veterinary (BVSc. & AH) (iv) Fisheries (BFSc.)
  3. Engineering Courses: B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) & B.Tech. (Food Engg.&Tech.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) & B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, B.Tech. (Food Technology) course under the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies]
  4. Architecture Course: B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on merit as assessed by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying Examination)
  5. Pharmacy Course: B.Pharm.

EAM Result 2018 Highlights:

  • Around 59,000 seats will be available for the undergraduate engineering aspirants in 365 institutes in the Kerala through KEAM.
  • The examination will be conducted on 23rd and 24th April 2018. The students will be able to check the KEAM result 2018 on or before 25th May 2018.
  • The CEE, Kerala will release the rank list on or before 20th June 2018 after the declaration of result.
  • For engineering courses, rank list will be prepared according to the marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II and marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying exam. Equal weightage (50:50) will be considered to prepare the rank list.
  • The students can appear in the counseling process according to their rank. KEAM counseling process will be organised via online mode through Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).

KEAM Entrance Result 2018 Declaration Date

The latest reports coming from the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala suggest that the KEAM Result 2018 will be announced soon after the completion of the test in the month of April. Industry experts are suggesting that the KEAM Entrance Result will be declared by the board in the month of May, with some even given an approximate date of May 25 for KEAM Results 2018. After announcement of KEAM Results for 2018

After the formal announcement of the KEAM Results 2018, the CCE will also announce the KEAM Rank List on their website. The KEAM Rank List for different courses i.e., Engineering, Architecture, Medical & Allied and BAMS; will be published separately. About the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE):

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. The Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about 1,70,000 candidates participate every year. The other courses for which the CEE conducts Entrance Examinations are Three year LLB, Five Year LLB, LLM, MD Homoeo, MDS, MD Ayurveda, M Sc Nursing, PG Medical and PG Super Speciality.
