Section B: Writing Skills and Grammar

- Focus on determiners, tenses, modals, subject-verb concord, and reported speech (commands, statements, questions).

III. Writing Skills

- Formal Letter Writing (100-120 words) based on a given situation (1/2 questions). (5 Marks)

Section C: Language through Literature

IV. Reference to the Context

- Extracts: One from Drama/Prose and one from Poetry (5+5 Marks). MCQs, objective questions, and short answers.

- Short Answer (First Flight): 4 out of 5 questions (40-50 words) for interpretation, analysis, inference, and evaluation (3 Marks each). (12 Marks)
