CBSE Class 10 Maths Exam Pattern 2025
The CBSE Class 10 Maths question paper will have five sections: Section A,B,C, D and E. There will be 38 questions in the paper. The exam pattern is the same for CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Basic and CBSE Class 10 Mathematics Standard. Check the CBSE Class 10 Maths Exam Pattern below.

Internal choice
All Questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice in 2 Questions of section B, 2 Questions of section C and 2 Questions of section D has been provided. And internal choice has been provided in all the 2 marks questions of Section E.

Tips to Prepare for CBSE Class 10 Maths Examination
1. Students must first familiarize themselves with the syllabus so as to understand which topics carry more weightage. Ensure that you prepare according to the latest syllabus only.
2. Maths is a subject that demands regular practice. It is important that students practice as much as they can. Practice the questions given at the end of each chapter.
3. Students give time to all topics on the basis of their strengths and weaknesses. Don’t let your bias towards your favourite chapter affect the time-table. Make time for revision.
4. Solve the problems from CBSE Class 12 subject textbook to clear the concepts and strengthen understanding. While solving problems, students should make it a habit to show rough work clearly which will help them in the examination as well.
