The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
The course is offered as both a regular programme and Distance Learning Programme. The regular programme is offered at the North Campus, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics. The distance programme is offered at the School of Distance Learning. It invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to MCom.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Delhi University (DU)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks for BCom (Hons.) & BCom (Hons.) Economics programme, 55% for BCom, and 60% for BBA, BBE, BBS, and BIFA programme. Final year candidates can also apply.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the Common Entrance Test to be conducted by the Department of Commerce for both Regular students as well as candidates seeking admission to the School of Open Learning (SOL) for pursuing MCom.
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): The Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained in person or by post from the Section officer, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi-110007, against cash payment. If desired by post, send one self-addressed envelope (28cms x 22cms) with a demand Draft.
Brochure+ Application fee: Rs 750 (Rs 600 for SC/ ST/ PH/ CW/ OBC candidates). The fee needs to be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi. Candidates can call at 011- 27667891 or 27667725/ 1630.
