Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) concludes its final placement round for the third cluster its 2017 batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP). The third cluster of the PGP batch comprised of 6 cohorts, which included Advisory & Audit Consulting, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, Edutech, Internet & E-commerce, Infrastructure & Core Manufacturing, and Technology. The second cluster consisted of five cohorts in the areas of Consumer Goods and Services, General Management, Niche Consulting, Pharmaceuticals and Technology. The campus witnessed eminent technology firms along with audit & advisory and banking companies offering placement packages to the MBA graduates.
The third cluster placements took place on February 19 and with this the final placement process at the institute was concluded. Whereas, the placements under Cluster 1 and Cluster 2 were conducted on February 14 and 16, respectively.
IIM has made this news official recently. Furthermore, among the top recruiters were firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), American Express and RBL, and in the technology sector brands such as Rivigo, Sprinklr extended offers. EXL extended the highest number of offers (total six offers) in the technology cluster. But the highest numbers of offers were extended by McKinsey & Company. The company offered 15 jobs in the 1st cluster. In the e-payment domain MobiKwik visited the campus.
As far as the experience of the recruiters is concerned, Team Rivigo commented that “It was a great experience interviewing the best talent in the country, who are equally passionate to transform the Indian logistics industry.”
With this IIM-A has again witnessed attractive placements with an exceptionally rich mix of companies from different domains. In all more than 110 companies participated in the campus placement and nearly 100 students opted for their dream applications in order to build their careers in the sectors where they wish to work.
