Eligibility Criteria for JRF, PJRF & RA/PDF Posts
Educational Qualification
- Research Associate (RA)/Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF): PhD with thesis work in the field Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Space Science or M.E./M.Tech with minimum 3 years research experience and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Post-Graduate degree in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics/Meteorology or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JAM/JEST.
- Project Junior Research Fellow (PJRF): Post-Graduate degree in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics/Meteorology and Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JAM/JEST.
Age limit
- Less than 30 years for JRF/PJRF
- Less than 35 years for RA/PDF
Selection Process for JRF, PJRF & RA/PDF Posts
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in test/Interview.
