Symbiosis International University is glad to announce that an autonomous body established by the UGC of India National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded ‘A’ grade with a score of 3.58 to Symbiosis International University in the second cycle of assessment and accreditation.
Symbiosis International University has 19 constituent institutes under it. It has seven faculties—law, management, computer studies, media communication and design, health sciences, engineering and humanities and caters to 11,537 students across the country. Symbiosis International University offers 71 programmes, including Ph.D.
NAAC awards four grades such as A, B, C and D on the basis of the recommendations submitted by the Peer Team which evaluate the institution on the following criteria
- Teaching-learning and evaluation
- Consultancy and extension
- Infrastructure and learning resources
- Student support and progress
- Governance and leadership
- Innovative practices
Symbiosis International University was accredited with an ‘A’ grade in the first cycle with a score of 3.35.
