Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invited applications for recruitment to the post for Jr. Scientific Officer, Medical Officer, Gliding Instructor, Scientists, Photographic Officer, Statistical Investigators, Joint Secretary and Legal Advisors, Sr. mining Geologists, Assistant Mining Geologist, and Veterinary Officer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through the prescribed format on or before 14 July 2016.
Under UPSC Recruitment 2016, there 44 posts, out of which 06 posts are for Jr. Scientific Officer, 04 posts are for Medical Officer/Research Officer (Unani), 01 Post is for Gliding Instructor, 02 posts are for Scientists (SB chemical),01 Junior Scientific Officer , 02 Posts are for Senior Photographic Officer, 17 Posts Statistical Investigators Grade -I,03 Posts are for Joint Secretary and Legal Advisors, 02 Posts are for Sr. Mining Geologists,01 Post is for Assistant Mining Geologist, and05 Posts are for Veterinary Officer.
Eligibility for Jr. Scientific Officer: candidate should have completed M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized university or institute; Or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized university or institute. Or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute. Candidate should have 02 years experience in concerned field.
Eligibility for Medical Officer/Research Officer (Unani): candidate should have M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized university or institute; Or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized university or institute. Or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute.
Eligibility for Gliding Instructor: candidate should have 10+2 with physics and Mathematics with Two hundred hours of experience on glider as a Pilot in command of which fifty hours in dual instructional flying as Instructor. Alternatively, Commercial Pilot’s Licence with minimum of fifty hours experience on glider as Pilot in Command of which twenty-five hours in dual instructional flying as Instructor.
Eligibility for Scientists (SB chemical): candidate should have Master’s degree in Chemistry (Pure/Applied/Industrial) or Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology of a recognised University or equivalent with 03 years experience in concerned field.
Eligibility for Junior Scientific Officer (Material Science/Metallurgy): candidate should have Master’s Degree in Material Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Material Science or Metallurgy from a recognized University or equivalent with 03 years experience in concerned field.
Eligibility for Senior Photographic Officer: candidate should have completed Degree from a recognised University with 03 years experience in various branches of Photography.
Eligibility for Statistical Investigators Grade –I: candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in Statistics or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Eligibility for Joint Secretary and Legal Advisors: candidate should have Degree in Law of a recognized University or LLB and has been a member of the Indian Civil Service permanently allotted to the judiciary or of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than sixteen years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than sixteen years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than sixteen years.
Eligibility for Sr. Mining Geologists: candidate should have Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized University/Institute with 05 years experience in concerned field.
Eligibility for Assistant Mining Geologist: candidate should have Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized University or Institute.
Eligibility for Veterinary Officer: candidate should have completed a recognized Veterinary qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, and should be registered with State Veterinary Council/Indian Veterinary Council.

Selection Procedure: call candidates wil be shortlisted based on the Academic qualification, experience, and wiil for the Interview.
Fee Payment: candidates are required to remit a fee of Rs. 25 against the Application fee.
