The Reserve Bank of India conducts the RBI Assistant exam each year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant in various branches of RBI. On 13th September, the RBI has released the RBI Assistant 2023 notification on its website. Through this exam, a total of 450 vacancies will be filled up. RBI Assistant 2023 Application Form
RBI has activated the RBI Assistant application form on its website on 13 September. Candidates can apply online for the exam up to 4 October 2023. The steps to fill the RBI Assistant application form are mentioned below:
- Visit RBI website.
- Click on the RBI Assistant 2023 Apply Online link.
- Fill up the details.
- Upload the documents in the correct size and format.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Make sure that you take printout of the RBI Assistant form 2023 for further use.
RBI Assistant 2023 Application Fee
It is mandatory to pay the application fee for your RBI Assistant Application Form to be accepted. Those who belong to the OBC/General category have to pay Rs. 450 while those from SC/ST/PWD/EXSERVICEMEN have to pay Rs. 50/-. A GST of 18 percent will also be levied on the application fee. RBI Assistant 2023 Eligibility
RBI Assistant eligibility consists of fulfilling the age limit, nationality, and educational qualification. The details regarding the eligibility criteria have been mentioned in the table below.
Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India or,
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Assistant Age Limit as on 1.09.2023
The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation for RBI Assistant Exam
Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years will be provided to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates, three years to OBC, 10 years to PWD, 10 years to widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married, five years to candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989, etc.

RBI Assistant Qualification
Candidates must have completed graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates must also have knowledge of computers.
RBI Assistant 2023 Selection Process
RBI conducts the RBI Assistant exam in three phases, i.e. Prelims, Mains and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Thus, the final selection process is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Mains and LPT.

RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates who qualify the RBI Assistant Mains exam shall be eligible to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. It measures listening comprehension in a particular language. The duration of the LPT is 50 minutes.

RBI Assistant 2023 Cut Off
RBI declares the RBI Assistant cut off after it has conducted all the stages of the exam.
