IBPS PO Exam Analysis 2019: Candidates can check here the detailed Exam Analysis & Review 2019 of IBPS PO Prelims Exam conducted in 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift of 19th October. As per the candidates' feedback, the difficulty level of the IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2019 was 'Easy to Moderate' level. Candidates were able to attempt around 70 - 78 questions with high accuracy. 

The IBPS PO Prelims 2019 exam was conducted in the Objective type format wherein multiple-choice questions (MCQs) were asked. A total of 100 questions were asked from English Language, Reasoning and Numerical Ability sections. Each question carries 1 mark. There is a penalty of negative marking for wrong answers marked by the candidates. Candidates should know that each wrong answer marked by them will invite a negative marking of 0.25 mark.

Earlier, the IBPS PO Prelims 2019 was conducted on 12th October 2019 by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted the IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2019 in four shifts - two in Morning and two in Evening. Candidates who appeared for the IBPS PO Prelims 2019 exam in all the four shifts shared that the difficulty level of the IBPS PO Prelims was 'Easy to Moderate' and they were able to attempt around 68-75 questions.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2019: Shift 2 - 19th October - (Easy to Moderate)

Section-wise Exam Analysis

English Language: Questions were asked from reading comprehension, Fillers, Cloze Test, Wrong spelt, error detection and Cloze Test.

Reasoning Ability: Questions were asked from Syllogism, puzzles, Order-ranking, Blood Relations and basic topics of verbal reasoning.

Numerical Ability (Maths): Questions asked were from Data Interpretation, arithmetic, and other topics:

Section-wise Exam Analysis

English Language: Questions were asked from reading comprehension, Cloze Test, error detection and para jumbles

Reasoning Ability: Questions were asked from puzzles, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations and basic topics of verbal reasoning.

Numerical Ability (Maths): Questions asked were from Data Interpretation, arithmetic, and other topics:

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis & Review 2019: Shift 4 - 12th October - (Easy to Moderate)

Section-wise Exam Analysis

English Language: In this section, questions were asked from reading comprehension, Cloze Test, error detection and rearrangement of sentences.

Reasoning Ability: In the 4th shift, questions were asked from puzzles, syllogism , Coding Decoding, Blood Relations and basic topics of verbal reasoning.

Numerical Ability (Maths): The questions asked in the 4th Shift were from Data Interpretation, arithmetic, quadratic equations, and missing number series.

IBPS PO Exam Analysis (Prelims) 2019:Shift 3 - 12th October - (Moderate)

Section-wise Exam Analysis

English Language: The questions were asked from topics like reading comprehension, fillers, error correction and rearrangement of sentences.

Reasoning Ability: Questions were asked from puzzles, syllogism , Chinese Coding, Directions and basic topics of verbal reasoning.

Numerical Ability (Maths): In the 3rd shift, questions were asked from Data Interpretation, arithmetic, missing number series and approximation.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2019: 12th October - Shift 2 (Moderate)

Section-wise Exam Analysis

English Language: The questions asked in shift-2 were similar to that asked in shift 1 of the English Language section. The questions were asked from topics like reading comprehension, fillers, word replacement, error correction and others. 

Reasoning Ability: Questions were asked from puzzles, blood relation, syllogism and other topics. The difficulty level of the section was moderate.

Numerical Ability (Maths): Questions were asked from Data Interpretation, arithmetic, missing number series and Quadratic Equation.

English Language: A total of 30 multiple type questions were asked from topics like reading comprehension, fillers, error correction and others. Have a look at the detailed analysis

Reasoning Ability: In this section, 35 questions were asked from puzzles, coding-decoding, blood relation, inequality and other topics. The difficulty level of the section was easy-moderate.

Numerical Ability (Maths): The difficulty level of the Numerical Ability section was Moderate. Questions were asked from Data Interpretation, arithmetic and simplification.
