GATE 2019: Last date to apply extended to October 1, check full details here

GATE 2019: The candidates who are preparing for GATE 2019, we have some important news for you. According to the official website of the board, the last date for the registration of GATE 2019 has been extended. Earlier, the last date to register for GATE 2019 was September 21 but now the date has been extended to October 1. The candidates must note that the request for the change of examination city is November 16.

The Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering or GATE is a national level engineering entrance examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. This year, the GATE 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 3, 9 & 10, 2019. The candidate who will be appearing for the GATE 2019 can fill the application form in the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) official website.

For the convenience of the students, we have elaborated on the registration process of GATE 2019 here. The candidate will first have to visit GOAPS official website. At this step, candidates will be required to fill their name, valid email id, and mobile number. Now, the candidates will have to enter their personal details, academic details, contact details, GATE 2019 paper they have chosen to appear for, GATE 2019 test centre preference and photo identity proof.

The candidates will then have to upload all the documents which include scanned photograph, signature and any other required document/s. The candidate must ensure that the documents uploaded are in a correct format otherwise the same documents will not be accepted. After uploading the documents, applicants should go through the submitted details thoroughly as form correction will not be allowed at a later stage. After reviewing, press the “Confirm and Submit” button.

Admit Cards

Once the admit cards are formally released by the officials, the same will be available on the official website of GATE. According to the officials, the GATE 2019 admit cards will be available from January 4. The students will be able to download and take a print out of GATE 2019 admit cards from the GOAPS website. GATE 2019 results will be declared on March 16.
