WB Madhyamik Result 2019 Today Update: West Bengal Board has officially declared the Madhyamik Result 2019. The WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2019 has been published for over 10.6 lakh students on its official website. WBBSE 10th Result 2019- Statistics

With the Madhyamik Result 2019 declared, students can finally breathe a sigh of relief. As per the initial reports, the overall pass percentage recorded this year is 86.07- all-time highest. East Midnapore is the best performing district with an overall pass percentage of 96.01% followed by Kolkata on the second place and West Midnapore district on the third place. 

A total of 10,66,176 students registered for the class 10 exam of which 10,50,397 students appeared for the exams. 8,76,694 students cleared the exams with an overall pass percentage of 86.07%.

This year a total of 10, 66,000 students appeared in the WB Madhyamik examination, out of which 10, 64,980 were regular students. The percentage of girl students was 56.65 while that of boys was 43.35 per cent in the WB Board Class 10 exam 2019. 

For 2019, the Madhyamik Exam 2019 of WB Board was conducted from 12th February to 22nd February 2019. The duration of West Bengal Class 10 exam was 3 hours and it was held in the afternoon shift from 12 PM to 3 PM. Following the new guidelines of the WBBSE, the question papers were distributed 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam. Candidates were provided with 15 minutes to read the questions before they could actually start answering.

The passing marks in WB Board 10th result 2019 is 34 along with obtaining 20 per cent in oral in each subject. The West Bengal 10th Board exam is conducted for 800 marks. So, the students must obtain 272 marks to pass in the exam. Last year the WB Class 10 result was declared on June 6 with a pass percentage of 85.49%. It is to be noted this year the WBBSE Result 2019 for class 10 students is being declared almost 2 weeks earlier than the general timeline followed by the WB Board.

To begin with, candidates can visit the official websites - wbbse.org or wbresults.nic.in and click on the link for “Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) Results – year 2019”. In the page that appears next, students will need to enter their Roll number and date of birth and click on the ‘Submit’ button. The West Bengal 10th result 2019 containing the name, roll number, qualifying status and marks obtained by the candidate will then appear on the screen.
