Amit Shah Election Result 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah won by 744716 votes against INC’s Sonal Patel in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The election was held on May 07, 2024, in the third phase.
In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah won this seat by more than 5.57 lakh votes, defeating INC's Chatursinh Javanji Chavda.
The BJP won the Gandhinagar seat for the first time in 1989 and has held onto it since. It has been represented by notable figures such as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, and the current Home Minister and former BJP chief Amit Shah.

Amit Shah Political Career Growth
- Shah started his political career in 1982 after joining the Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)
- He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1987.
- Shah won the 1997, 1998, 2002, 2007, and 2012 Assembly elections from the Sarkhej constituency in Ahmedabad and the 2017 Naranpura constituency.
- In 2014 he became the BJP national president.
- He was Rajya Sabha member from 2017 to 2019 and won 2019 Lok Sabha election from Gandhinagar seat.
Amit Shah Education
Amit Shah attended school in Mehsana and later moved to Ahmedabad to study biochemistry at CU Shah Science College. He completed his studies there and earned a BSc degree in biochemistry.

Amit Shah was born in Mumbai on 22 October 1964. He came from a Gujarati Hindu family of the Baniya caste.
