IRMASAT 2024 Latest Updates 

IRMASAT's online personal interviews took place from February 19 to February 24, 2024. Foreign Nationals had their interviews in the third week of March 2024. The application forms for IRMASAT 2024 were released by IRMA and were exclusively available online. The deadline for application submission was January 8, 2024. Candidates are selected for interviews based on their CAT, CMAT, or XAT scores.

What is IRMASAT 2024 Exam?

IRMASAT (IRMA Social Awareness Test) is conducted by the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) for admissions to its PG Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM). The exam is typically held online and considers CAT/XAT/CMAT scores for PGDRM admissions. The process includes application submission, a Written Ability Test (WAT), and a Personal Interview (PI). IRMASAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for IRMASAT 2024:

For Domestic Candidates:

  • Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the state or central government.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA is required (45% for SC/ST/DAP candidates).
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation are eligible, provided they submit proof of qualifying by September 2024.
  • Must have obtained 85 percentile or above in CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or CMAT 2024 for consideration in Merit-based Calls.
  • Candidates scoring 80 percentile or above in CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or CMAT 2024 and meeting Profile-based Call criteria are eligible.

For Foreign Candidates:

  • Must possess a graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Should have taken GMAT/GRE (from 2015 onwards) and achieved a score meeting IRMA's cutoff criteria.
  • Foreign candidates are exempt from IRMASAT but need to participate in Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds.

For Sponsored Candidates:

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university/institution.
  • Should have worked for at least two years (as of July 1, 2024) as a full-time regular employee with the sponsoring organization.
  • The sponsoring organization must provide uninterrupted leave if selected for study at IRMA and undertake fee payment arrangements.
  • Candidates returning within three years to complete their PGDRM must secure a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC) from their sponsoring organization.

Additional Information:

  • There is no age limit for IRMASAT eligibility.
  • Qualifying marks for IRMASAT 2024:
    • Candidates scoring above 80 percentile in CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or CMAT 2024 under the Profile-cum-merit based call criteria are shortlisted.
    • Candidates scoring above 85 percentile under the Merit-based call criteria are also shortlisted.
  • Both IRMASAT 2024 and the Group Activity/Personal Interview process will be conducted online for shortlisted candidates this year.
