The Jharkhand Board class 12th Examination 2014 was conducted from 21 February to 13 March by Jharkhand Academic Council, in which lakhs of students appeared.
Seeing the last year’s poor intermediate results, tension must be very high among students who appeared for the State Board Class 12 Exams 2014 in Jharkhand. Last year, the Jharkhand Intermediate Exams for the Art, Commerce, and Science Streams were held from 22 February to 15 March 2014, in which 61.72% failed the exam. Of the total 81,831 students appeared in science stream exams last year, a total of 50,504 students were failed.
For Commerce stream exams, the pass percent was 70.55 last year, while in Arts Stream, only 72.92% students passed.
About the JAC
Established on 26 December 2003, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was constituted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of the State which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 02.7.2003.
The JAC is responsible to conduct every year Class 10th and 12th, that is, matriculation and intermediate annual exams across the state for schools/colleges affiliated to it.
