NMAT BY GMAC, popularly known as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT BY GMAC), was earlier administered and held by Narsee Monjee Institutes of Management Studies (NMIMS). Since 2015, NMAT BY GMAC was acquired by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Now the exam is known as NMAT BY GMAC by GMAC. NMAT BY GMAC exam is a gateway to over 22 management schools across India including XIM Bhubneshwar and VIT Vellore. The entrance exam is taken by candidates who wish to pursue management programmes including MBA and PGDM at premier B-schools in India.

NMAT by GMAC 2013 Exam Analysis - The analysis of NMAT by GMAC exam was done right after the exam was held. NMAT by GMAC 2013 exam analysis was done by various coaching institutes and their experts with the help of feedbacks gathered from candidates. NMAT by GMAC 2013 exam was conducted from second week of October, 2013 to third week of December, 2013. The entrance exam comprised questions on various sections namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.

1) The level was moderate.

1) This section was easy, if taken as a whole.

2) This year this particular section just required a proper knowledge of English Grammar to do well and score high.

4)  Besides there were 2 reading comprehension passages.

1) This section was a bit tough but that too in comparison to the other two sections or otherwise if compared to previous year’s Logical Reasoning paper, it was moderate.

As per the analysis of NMAT by GMAC exam, the NMAT by GMAC 2013 exam was quite different though easy in comparison to last year’s paper. The logical reasoning section was a bit time-consuming but the exam was easy considering the overall sections. And like last year, this year too NMAT by GMAC considered the best score from 3 different attempts of candidates to shortlist them for final admission.
