MBA in International Business

MBA-International Business is a two-year, residential, post-graduate degree program which is designed to prepare candidates to work in global business management environment. MBA in Agri Business

MBA-Agri Business program broadly covers all the relevant subjects and aspects which are integral part of agriculture field. SIIB Eligibility Criteria Programme-wise

MBA in International Business

Candidate willing to seek admission in this domain should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of national Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

MBA in Agri Business

Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST or equivalent grade).

MBA in Energy & Environment

Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) only from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST or equivalent grade).

SIIB MBA Admission Process

At SIIB Pune, candidates have to clear two steps in the entire Selection process to get admission in their desired MBA course. Here are the steps followed by SIIB Pune for granting admission to the MBA aspirants:

Step I: SNAP Test

For each student aspiring to get admission in SIIB, Pune, it is mandatory to appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is an online test for the admission to all Symbiosis affiliated postgraduate institutes. Aspirants can get registered by visiting

Step II: Group Exercise, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT) Round

The GEPIWAT round is another milestone which also tests the mental acumen of the candidates. At SIIB, Pune based on SNAP scores, candidates are short-listed and called for the next round of selection process. The list of shortlisted candidates is announced via a web-link on SIIB Pune’s website as per the scheduled dates. The entire selection process is generally conducted in PUNE only.

Only the candidates shortlisted in GE-PIWAT round are then called for the final admission.

SIIB MBA Admission Cut-offs

SNAP cut offs are applicable for admission in 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges that accept SNAP score. These institutes offer MBA admission on the basis of SNAP exam score via-a-vis the SNAP cut offs.  SNAP cut offs scores vary from institute to institute depending upon the availability of seats and demand for the course among the applicants. The shortlisting is done on the basis of overall score cut offs.

SIIB Admission Shortlisting Criteria

The selection process at SIIB Pune includes SNAP test in which points will be allotted out of 50 marks to the candidate and 3 after test modes namely Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview(PI) & Written Ability Test (WAT). The role of all the four tests in the final selection is mentioned as under:

Written Communication Test (WCT): The candidate will be provided a topic on which he/she will be required to write a brief essay within the specified duration. This test carries 10 marks and its aims to test Language Proficiency, Thought Process, Coherence, Critical and Logical Thinking skills of the candidates.

Group Exercise: Candidates shortilsted in WCT round are then called for the GE round in which 8-10 candidates are given a topic to discuss. This round also carries 10 marks.

Personal Interview: It is the final round of selection in which candidate are required to provide information about themselves and their career aspirations among the panel of 4-8 interviewees. This round goes for about 15-20 minutes. This round carries 30 marks. The combined performance of a candidate in all the modes of selection will determine his/her final admission in SIIB Pune’s MBA course.

SIIB MBA Programme Fees

Candidates who successfully clear all the rounds of the selection process and meet the cut-off scores mentioned in the admission cut-off, are then given final call for admission. Thereafter, the admission seekers are required to make fee payment as per the rules and regulations of the SIIB fee committee. Those candidates who make the fee payment within the stipulated time limit are then confirmed for the admission or else other candidates in the waiting list are called for the admission:
