Akhilesh Yadav vs Subrat Pathak Political Career
Both Akhilesh Yadav and Subrata Pathak have been important figures in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. There have been many ups and downs in the political careers of both of them. Akhilesh Yadav is a dynastic leader of SP. He was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 2012 to 2017. Many development works took place during his tenure but there were also allegations of corruption. He was defeated in the 2017 assembly elections. He was trying to return to power again in 2022 but failed.
On the other hand, BJP MP from Kannauj Lok Sabha and State General Secretary Subrata Pathak is an Indian politician. He was also the former president of Bharatiya Janata Party youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. If we talk about Subrata's political journey, he was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, from Kannauj in UP by defeating Dimple Yadav in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Presently Subrata Pathak is the General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Uttar Pradesh.
In the last election also, BJP's Subrata Pathak had defeated Dimple Yadav. Subrata Pathak won this election by just 12,353 votes. In 2009 he stood third with 1.5 lakh votes and in 2014 he improved his position by becoming the first runner-up with 4.69 lakh votes. Pathak is contesting against Akhilesh Yadav in the upcoming elections.
