SSC CGL Result 2024 Out

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam on 5th December 2024. Candidates can view their results on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted from September 9 to 26 at various test centres across the country. The provisional answer key was made available on October 4, with the objection window closing on October 8.

The CGL Tier 1 result document includes the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for Tier 2. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension, with 25 questions per section and a maximum of 50 marks per section. The candidates need to get at least 30%, OBC and EWS candidates need 25% and candidates from all other categories require 20% to be able to qualify the exam. 

Through this exam, a total of 17,727 Group B and Group C vacancies shall be filled up in central government ministries, departments, organizations, statutory bodies, and tribunals. How to Calculate SSC CGL Marks?

The SSC CGL exam is for a total of 200 marks. All the questions are objective in nature. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every incorrect answer marked by you. Here is the formula to calculate SSC CGL score:
