CBSE Practical Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued the CBSE class 10, 12 Practical Exam 2025 guidelines. The board will be conducting the CBSE 10th and 12th practical exams from January 1 to February 14, 2025.
Schools and students are required to check the Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order to conduct and appear for the exams. The board has released the SOPs and guidelines in order to maintain a uniformity of instructions and correctness of procedures.

CBSE Practical Exams 2025: Guidelines and SOPs
- Schools are advised to follow the guidelines issued for conducting the CBSE 10th and 12th practical exams and complete the same within the given deadline
- It must be noted that the marks for all Practical exams/ projects/ internal assessments must be uploaded simultaneously from the conduct of the exams - January 1 to February 14, 2025.
- After uploading marks, no corrections will be allowed.
- Practicals, projects and internal assessment must be done on time.
- The Practical exams/ assessment must be conducted for regular students based on their eligibility and bonafide status.
- Students found attempting to influence examiners or follow unfair means will face disciplinary action
- Practical answer books will not be supplied by the Board for class X, the school shall make all arrangements themselves. After conducting Practical/Project/Internal Assessment the answer books of the students are not required to be sent to the Regional Office.
- The Board will appoint External Examiners in each school to conduct Practical Examinations and Project Assessments in the specified subjects
- The school authorities are not authorised to make alternate arrangements for external examiners for the conduct of practical examination/project assessments at the local level. Practical examination can only be conducted by an external examiner appointed by the Board.
- There will be an External Examiner as well as an Internal Examiner, as per the policy for Practical Examinations/Project Assessment. The school shall appoint an Internal Examiner of adequate experience and expertise in all such subjects.
- The Principal/Head of the School is required to get the laboratory ready for the Practical examinations. The External Examiners shall visit the laboratory of the school at least one day before the day of conduct of examination/assessment to ensure the availability of proper and adequate Apparatus/Equipment/Chemicals/other required material and all other arrangements etc
