Magadh University UG Part III degree examinations which were postponed earlier will be conducted on October 12, 2019. The examination for the BA, B.Sc and B.Com programme which were supposed to be held on September 30, 2019, was postponed due to the heavy rainfall and waterlogging issues faced earlier.
The notice to postpone the examination was released by the university Vice-Chancellor on September 29, 2019. According to the Controller of Examination, Professor, Binod Singh, the remaining examinations will be held from October 12 to 17, 2019.
The BA, B.com, and B.Sc Part III examinations will be conducted across 58 centres across seven districts which include Patna and Nalanda. As per data close to 1.33 lakh students from 44 constituents, 4 government-funded minority colleges and 66 affiliated colleges from Magadh and Pataliputra Universities will be appearing for the examinations.
Speaking about the evaluation process Professor Singh said that the evaluation schedule will be finalized soon. He also added that more than 60 percent of the students appearing for the examinations are from colleges that are now under Pataliputra University. He further stated that these students were admitted before the creation of the Pataliputra University while they have to appear for the examinations conducted by Magadh University.
The practical examinations for the Part III subjects are set to be conducted between October 18 and 22, 2019. As per the notification provided on the official website, the mark sheets of the practical examinations will be declared by October 25, 2019.
