The National Law University Odisha, Cuttack released application form for the CLAT 2019 on January 13, 2019. The release of application forms was supposed to be announced on January 10, 2019, which had then been postponed by three days.
Candidates can fill the application form of CLAT 2019 in the online mode till March 31, 2019, which is the last date to fill the CLAT application form. The law aspirants who are interested to apply for CLAT 2019 need to register online for the Common Law Admission Test.

The application process began from 13th January 2019. The candidates will be able to apply for the exam till 31st March 2019. It is advisable to apply for the exam at the earliest to avoid the last minute rush. Moreover, if you apply early you will more relaxed and be focused solely on your preparation for the exam. Aspirants can access the application forms through the official website of the CLAT 2019.
The candidates will be able to access their admit cards from 20th April 2019. Before that, candidates have to make sure that they fill the right details in the application form. From 20th April onwards candidates can download their admit card and take the print out with them.
The CLAT 2019 exam will be held on May 12, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm. The exam will be conducted at various test centres across the country. CLAT is held for admissions into various undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the field of law. CLAT 2019 exam is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities on a rotational basis. The CLAT score card is accepted by various private & public law colleges in India.
The CLAT 2019 Answer key is expected to be released in the second week of May 2019. Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to download the CLAT 2019 Answer key:
CLAT results are prepared by NLU authorities. Result for CLAT exam is compiled on the basis of an aspirant’s score in the law entrance exam. CLAT merit lists include state merit list and India merit lists. All these merit lists are prepared separately for aspirants belonging to different categories, like, Unreserved/SC/ST/OBC/Women/SAP for CLAT 2019 exam. The result for the CLAT 2019 exam is expected to be announced around the last week of May 2019.
After CLAT results are declared, aspirants who meet cutoffs for CLAT exam need to take part in the centralized counseling process that is conducted by CLAT exams authorities. The CLAT 2019 counselling process is expected to commence around the first week of June 2019.
Candidates are allotted seats for CLAT admissions on ‘merit-cum-preference’ basis. This means, that admission in law colleges is done basis their CLAT score and also by going through the preference order of colleges (accepting CLAT scores for admission) as mentioned by the candidate in his/her CLAT 2019 application form. When candidates take part in CLAT counseling process they need to ensure that they are carrying all the important documents as mentioned in the CLAT 2019 information brochure.
