Candidates aspiring for SEBI Grade A vacancies in 2025 must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements in terms of educational qualifications and age. Applications of candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed criteria may be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
SEBI Grade A Educational Qualification

SEBI Grade A Age Limit (as on 30/09/2025)
Candidates applying for SEBI Grade A (Assistant Manager) must be below 30 years of age. Only candidates born on or after October 1, 1995 are eligible to apply.
What is SEBI Grade A 2025 Selection Process: Phase Wise Selection Criteria

Probation Period for SEBI Grade A
Candidates selected for SEBI Grade A (Assistant Manager) will be appointed as Officers Grade ‘A’ and are required to undergo a probation period of two years.
SEBI Grade A Pay Scale
The pay structure for SEBI Grade A officers is as follows:
Rs. 62,500 – 3,600(4) – 76,900 – 4,050(7) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4,050(4) – 1,21,450 – 4,650(1) – 1,26,100 [17 years].
At the minimum of this scale, the gross monthly emolument in Mumbai, including SEBI’s contribution to the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, and Special Grade Allowance, is approximately:
