The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the APPSC Group 1 exam each year to recruit civil servants in the Andhra Pradesh state. APPSC Group 1 2024 Application Form
The candidates fulfilling the APPSC Group 1 eligibility criteria can fill up the APPSC Group 1 application form through the steps that are mentioned below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of APPSC which is psc.ap.gov.in.
Step 2: Complete One-Time-Profile-Registration (OTPR) process by filling up the basic details.
Step 3: Click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment on that page.
Step 4: Enter the details such as your Aadhaar Card number, Basic Details, Address Details, Educational Qualifications, Photo and Signature Upload, etc.
Step 5: Review the details entered carefully and click on Submit.
Step 6: The Reference ID will be generated and displayed on a screen.
Step 7: Go to Login page and enter your login credentials
Step 8: Fill the details asked in the form and verify them before moving to pay the application fee.
Step 8: Submit the application and proceed to the payment process.
Step 9: Once the payment has been made, take a print out of the application form for future reference.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process 2024
APPSC conducts the APPSC Group 1 exam to recruit Group 1 officers through the following mentioned selpection process:
Prelims Exam: This is the first stage of the examination and is qualifying in nature.
Mains Exam: The marks secured by the candidates in this stage shall be used to determine the candidates for final selection.
Interview: It is mandatory to appear for the APPSC Group 1 interview as the marks scored by the candidates in this stage shall be used to determine the final selection of candidates.

The APPSC Group 1 prelims exam is a screening exam conducted in offline mode. There are a total of 120 questions asked in the exam for a total of 120 marks. The exam duration is 2 Hours. Check the table below for more information.

APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Pattern
Those candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The Main exam is a conventional paper held in offline mode. The marks of the main exam will be used to prepare the merit list of APPSC Group 1. There are seven conventional papers in the mains exam. English and Telugu papers are qualifying in nature, their marks will not be included in the merit list.
