Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) is a state level MBA entrance exam for admission to various management courses offered at the AICTE approved B-Schools across the state of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The MAH-CET exam is open to candidates from all parts of India, provided they meet the eligibility norms for the MAH-CET exam as set by the DTE, Maharashtra.
There are over 300 B-Schools in Maharashtra that accept the MAH-CET score. Some of the popular names in the list are Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Sydenham Institute of Management Studies And Research And Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE), Department of Management Sciences University of Pune (PUMBA), K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR), NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (DYPIMR) and many others.
The online registration for the MAH-CET exam has commenced from 10th January and will continue till 15 Feb. Interested students can submit their applications while the registration window is open.

MAH-CET 2019 Exam Overview
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is an online computer based entrance exam of 150 minutes time duration. The exam paper consists of 4 sections - Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension. The test will be conducted in the English language. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer while there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
MAH CET Exam Registration: MAH CET exam registrations are important for the candidates as during this window the candidates can apply for the exam in online mode on the official website of the exam conducting body. The MAH CET registration window shall remain open from 10th January till 15th February.

MAH CET Admit Card: The exam conducting body will issue admit card to the candidates who succesfully got registered for the exam. The MAH CET exam admit card is issued few days before the actual exam date. It is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam hall for authorising the candidature of the candidate appearing in the exam.
MAH CET Exam Date: MAH CET exam is schedule to be conducted on March 10 for the MBA programme. As per the notification recently released by DTE Maharashtra, the exam is supposed to be conducted in the month of March for the MBA aspirants.
MAH CET Result: Post the exam, DTE Maharashtra will declare the result for the candidates by the end of March, tentatively by 31st March. The result will be released online for the candidates. No one will be intimated about the result via any mode of personal communication such as SMS, E-mail etc. Candidates will have to use their personal login IDs to check the result online.
