UGC NET Syllabus for Paper 2 - Subject Wise

UGC NET paper 2 syllabus consists of 83 subjects. A candidate has to choose a subject as per his/her educational qualification. Paper 2 consists of 200 questions with each question of 2 marks. It is advisable to prepare for the UGC NET paper 2 syllabus right from their post graduation days as its syllabus is vast. UGC NET paper 2 exam is subject-specific and based on the subjects chosen by the candidate. Paper 2 comprises 100 questions that hold two marks for each correct answer. Changes in UGC NET Syllabus

UGC has made no changes in the latest UGC NET syllabus 2025. However, it did revise the syllabus in June 2019. While in 2022, UGC added a new subject which is Hindu Studies.
